Yes, this is it! The Read Write Poem NaPoWriMo Challenge pledge post. Remember — you have to “sign” the pledge to qualify for inclusion in the Read Write Poem NaPoWriMo Challenge Anthology and to be included in our gently used poetry collection raffle!
Leave your name in the comments below, along with a link to your blog (if you have one) and pledge your ambition, hope, goal or other such oath to write a poem every single day the month of April. (If you need a refresher about the motivation behind such a lofty goal, read this post, where we tell you about the opportunities in store for those who accept the challenge.)
And to mark your commitment, here is the Read Write Poem NaPoWriMo Challenge badge that you can proudly display on your blog.

So go ahead! Sign up in the comments below (even if you were so excited by the initial announcement that you commented there, too).![]()

Is it the shuffle thing? I’m going to assume that’s it, unless otherwise informed.

Hi Mary, it’s on the main page, just below the sticky post. All posts during the month will show up in that main column on the site.
I’m in! I hope it’s not too late
I’m gonna try

Sadie Duke!
So it is the Shuffle thing, right? Right. Now I’m trying to figure out where to post the poem if I don’t have a blog. Do I post it here? Sorry to be so thick-headed, but I get easily bedazzled by all the pretty colors.
I am IN!
Count me in. It’s a good challenge and although the poems may not be fantastic, it’s a great way to flex the writing muscles and learn to “let go” of results.

Count me in for Year Two!
Must do!
Ok. I’m not so sure I’ll make it the full 30 days, but I’ll give it my best shot! A good kick in the pants to get back to writing each day. Glad to be part of a community for this.
Oh I think I need to link my blog? I didnt earlier – so here goes…

Count me in!
Though I’m not entirely clear on whether or not we can post poems written to a different prompt or no prompt at all, i.e., whether simply writing a poem a day counts for participation.

I pledge to write a poem a day for 30 days in honour of Read Write Poem’s napowrimo challenge
What a great idea. In in!
Count me in. I’m a poem challenge virgin, so be gentle.

Perhaps not the best way of putting it…
I’ll write (at least) 1 piece of poetry a day for NaPoWriMo.
My Blog is called ‘Elephant Small’ – and elephants never forget.

The pledge post is closed for purposes of the anthology (although anyone can take the pledge if they want to make a commitment to themselves and their writing this month). Those who took the pledge after April 1 can still participate in the writing madness — that would be great — but according to the guidelines, they can’t be included in the anthology. Everyone who attempts to write a poem every day this month will be eligible for the gently used book raffle.
Whether too late or not, here is my pledge: I will endeavor to write and post a poem to each days prompt every single day the month of April, despite life, husband and rebellious teenagers.

That’s a great pledge.
I’d love to be included in the raffle.
Thanks for doing this.
I just found this challenge and hope I’m not too late to take the pledge on the 3rd day of the cruelest month. I promise I will write one a day, just like taking a vitamin, and will even make up the two I missed. Thanks for the fun! I will be writing from next week’s prompts while at the AMP conference in Denver. Anybody else out there going?
I may be a 4th day pledger, but I’ve been in the NaPo race since the 1st. I do promise to write 30 poems this month.
I signed up a few days ago, but I don’t see my post…I just set up a blogspot account, and am writing & posting regardless of inclusion.
