What do you see in this week’s Read Write (Image) Prompt?
Does the progression of time seem frozen, or does it march on? What is the significance of the prone figure in the foreground? Is he/she merely resting as they journey forward, or is their journey over? Is the person in the distance approaching, walking or running away, or observing the scene from afar?
When you look at the image, what does it spark in your mind about the passage of time? What does it mean to you emotionally? Experientially? Physically?

What a powerful photo with layers of meaning!
Back in town. It’s Gay Mardi Gras here tonight.
A lot of lovelies are going to be feeling like this tomorrow morning. The weather is beautiful and there is a bright full moon so I expect you’ll be feeling the vibrations(earth trembling variety) all the way to over there.
Every year Reverend Nile and his group have a public prayer meeting to pray for rain on the parade .No luck this year.In fact that prostrate figure in the photo looks very much like the Reverend Nile!

This was my immediate response to the photo.
The first thing I see is walking away. The second thing I see is… being asleep to the walking away.
No paucity of secondary subject matter here. Striking image
an amazing photo….have no idea where this will take me….maybe somewhere…..or maybe nowhere…
Very strange and interesting photo. I am wondering where this will take me also …
I saw several fascinating elements in this excellent photo collage, that lead to questions for me. The questions I sought to answer dealt with who the two figures were, why one was standing and one on his back, what if anything was their relationship, how did this relationship or lack thereof play out in time. The current draft of my piece is now posted. I expect there may be some additional edits.
