members' work, members' work is in the world!

Juliet Wilson’s poem “Alchemy” is included in The Book Of Hopes And Dreams — a charity poetry anthology featuring Simon Armitage, Margaret Atwood, Carol Anne Duffy and many others. You can buy the e-book at Rimbaud. All funds raised go to Spirit Aid. Find out more about what Spirit Aid is doing in Afghanistan here.

The last of Juliet’s three musical collaborations with Belvedere Mountain Express is up at its Myspace page. The piece is the third track down, “A Vow in the Blue Belltower.”

Donna Vorreyer’s first chapbook, Womb/Seed/Fruit, is forthcoming from Finishing Line Press this June. Her poem “Misconception” has been nominated for Best of the Net 2009 by Chantarelle’s Notebook.

Ron Hardy’s poem “Orange” is at Right Hand Pointing.

Dana Guthrie Martin has an audio poem in the Delirious Hem Adventskalender 2009. Find her face with a 3 on one cheek (for Dec. 3) and bink, and there it is. (We mean the face cheek, of course.)

Nathan Moore and Dana Guthrie Martin have an excerpt from a collaborative poem in the December issue of Elimae.

The Read Write Poem NaPoWriMo Anthology is still in production. Selection, placement, layout and copyediting are taking longer than anticipated. Thank you for your patience. I hope to have the piece completed in July. For those who have emailed asking if they can be included, the May 7 deadline for submission of work stands. Those who met that deadline will be included. Please check the post on this site listing who I received submissions from by that date. If you submitted your work by the May 7 deadline in accordance with our guidelines and your name is not listed, send an email to info (at) readwritepoem (dot) org.

It’s the final week of the Read Write Poem NaPoWriMo Challenge! Just 7 days left. With that, a reminder that Read Write Poem will culminate with the anthology featuring work from those who complete the challenge. A post with details for submitting to the anthology will be published May 1. Be sure you remove any information from the site that you want preserved — such as group content and personal messages. Those elements of the site will be removed May 1 as well. The main site will remain up as an archive.
