Did you get it on in the car, even though Nick said not to? Did you get it on by using nonsexual words in a sexual context, which Nick recommended? Did you take it off to get it on? Did you like taking it off? Did you run away in horror, unable to get your garments lines arranged fast enough?
Whatever you did wrote this week, we guarantee everyone’s interest is piqued. So show us what you got by leaving a comment with a link to your poem or the poem itself.
Please read this page to find out how the Get Your Poem On and Read Write Prompt posts work.
Remember that work linked from this post is shared in precisely that spirit: sharing, as opposed to critiquing.

If you participate in a Read Write Prompt, we ask that you link back here in your posts, either with a link to Read Write Poem or by using the Read Write Poem badge in your post. Sidebar links are great but it helps others find the site when you link in every post you contribute to the project. It’s not a lot to ask in acknowledgment of the work everyone is doing in providing prompts for members to use.

Sex, shmecks. Why write about a little death when you can write about “the big one”? he asks. My poem, off-prompt this week, is titled:
“THE VENGEANCE OF ANAT“
Here is my poem.
Living In The Eastern Woodlands. My poem is Visiting the Portrait Gallery
Well, it isn’t exactly about cars. Sunday Drivers
Warning: Photo included with poem includes near nudity. If that causes you to get upset, just don’t read my poem this week.

My poem ‘All I want for Xmas is a new Fridge’
is based on something I wrote called
‘Dr. Ruth’s 10 point Recipe for a Sex Poem’.I wrote this to help those who might be struggling with this week’s poem, which was really stupid of me as everyone knows that poets are sex maniacs, evident from the few I’ve read so far. Mine wont give you an ‘O’ but hopefully will give you a laugh!

I’m getting it on.
what it’s like for a girl
I forgot to take a PG-13 photo to go with the poem… oh well. On the Composition of a Fugue
…though really, I don’t think there are many good poses that would have fit well with this one anyway. I’ll work on it.

It was good for me.

I’m afraid my imagination wasn’t up to the challenge, so I’ve just penned this little bit of nonsense. But I see already that others were not so shy!

Mine is: How to Tie a Yellow Stimulator, a major overhaul of an old poem.
Fun prompt, I can hardly wait to read everyone’s, though it will take through the weekend! (Ahem.)

Dana and I wrote a collaborative poem this week: http://disorder1313.wordpress.com/2009/12/10/the-sexually-active-are/
A black bird sits on the fence. His caws mundane metaphors, artistry without a language, permutations of feather clad verbal nudity understood only by a black bird. Where are you perched?
The wonder to roam this golden furrow

Sex without “doing the math” – the best (only?) kind. This is great poem. I love the bit about lust reaching triple digits. I picture some kind of digital counter racing and racing as someone reaches climax. Great image!

Ten toes, but not ten thumbs. Clever from beginning to end, amusingly! And those last two lines certainly must be brilliant in this or any universe.
Good good job!

Ok, ok. It takes place in a car. But I’ve never been one to defer from the truth.

I chose the language of essay grading to talk about sex. I hope none of my students read this.

I’m going and catching up on missed prompts. This one’s called ‘Bibliorotica’, in a blatant rip-off of Nick’s title.
