Discover the Many Gems™ the Portland Art Museum has to offer — while writing poetry! Through guided tours and independent study, students will learn how to transfer the lines and forms of paintings and sculptures into lines of verse. We’ll look at and respond to a variety of works while learning about the rich literary history of poems written in response to visual artworks.
All experience levels welcome. Taught by poet Joseph Bradshaw.
