Did your “little man” (or woman, or androgen, or robot, or baby) lead you into a strange land this week? What did you find there? The giddiness of a Martian child? The scorn of an old boss? A dream sequence involving a Lilliputian in a tutu? Whatever you wrote, it’s time to share — we can’t wait to read.

MEMORY
Listening to the drone
soft whirr
of clipped voice
echoing
dominus dominum domini
always back row
winter near a window
looking at puffs
of grey sky
bleating
lupus nullius tacitus
fugged steam on windows
staccato coughing
ripped through the hall
like a lightning strike
waking disguised slumbers
whining
suetonius pliny catullus
drift off again
into half sleep
wool scarfed reverie
hominum,hominus, homunculus
Just a silly thought
hip hop homunculus
clip clop carbunculus
uncle homo?
I don’t think so
just a cretinous
homo of an unculus!
Ever since I started to write this one, I have been angry, grouchy… miles from my usual nicey-nice self. Intriguing.

So maybe I took it a little bit literally…

Here is my (sort of written for the prompt) contribution this week. Actually, I am stretching it saying it’s for the prompt. Here it is anyway:
Sex Addict Rehab

“Stillness is not natural”
Little Man of Heart
This was quite an intriguing prompt. I look forward to seeing what everyone did with it!

Dave, you inspired me to start a blog. Hooray for Google and it’s multitude of uses!!
I’m a lot less tech savvy than I claim to be……

SLYSPACE – AN AMBITIOUS INTROVERT GOES ONLINE
TYRANNY TOPPLED – FALLING INTO PLACE
I’m finally getting settled into our summer home and now can participate again. That said, however, this week I didn’t follow the prompt but did use ReadWritePoem’s prompt generator for some words for he Totally Optional Prompts prompt. I thought I’d post it here, anyway.
I posted, but it seems to not show up?
This is not allowing me to post a link — I’ve made several tries, sometimes it lets me hit ‘Say It!’ and seems to have worked, but the comment doesn’t appear; sometimes I get the ‘duplicate comment’ error.
i’ve been told that some people have had difficulty leaving comments on my poem Fore Fathers, not sure what’s up with my site, so here’s the link again to who’s interested
http://beatnikprose.blogspot.com/2009/07/fore-fathers.html
thanks mark and jeeves for sending me an email with comments! very cool, appreciate it greatly, have a killer weekend everyone!
OK, try this again — I am having one hell of a time with this prompt — I have two poems going, neither of which I’m ready to post.
In the meantime: http://www.sbpoet.com/2009/07/this-old-house.html
Sharon, you got stuck in our spam filter. We fished you out!
I am WAAAAAY behind…but I came forward with a poem this week anyway (thank God!).
Check out Mutiny in Six Parts
Thank you, Dana! Better spam than banned. (It was one of those days; I actually went and checked the participant list…)
Little Man In The Blue Suit…from Doors movie
Homunculus
Oh man, so many new links since I checked in last. I have to get to work! There’s reading to do.
OK, let’s try this (also a response to the next prompt, which I will post on that thread later):
