A poem called “Chocolate and Depression” based on both the visual and word[s] prompts.
Hi there. I’ve been hiding from poetry for a few months; I think it’s trying to find me. This week I’ve got a freewrite based on the most recent wordle:

Chemistry 101
Here’s one about food, well, one food in particular: the Buddha Hand
And this one’s for the image prompt– although come to think of it, it works just as well for the food prompt: Lollipop Girls
It’s all about the food……
The way we live, love, work, play, and eat
a message from the fruit on my counter: http://jillypoet.wordpress.com/2009/03/12/june-cleaver-tries-for-exotic-settles-for-ugli-fruit-with-iceberg/
I didn’t write about food (for some reason food has never inspired my writings), but this week I was inspired by dance (specifically the Waltz), which has been on my mind quite a bit.
Waltz the Rose

I tried to have the meter of this one reflect the 3/4 timing of the Waltz. Not sure if there is a particular name for this form. Enjoy!
A food poem:
