Hi. I’m recently getting back into blogging and writing poetry. I used to participate at Poetry Thursday and look forward to reading everyone’s posts.
I used the read write image #11 for my poem, entitled,My Dark Friend. Thanks for reading!

Well, here’s mine, with Jame’s lines as the refrain:

And I used Michelle’s lines:
“My Last Blind Night”

I started with the bop prompt and then wandered off in a slightly different direction – ended up with a straight sonnet headed for a refrain based on a book I read recently:
eyes and heart
more of a ballad than a bop…
I adapted a Chumash origin story into a children’s story into a pentameter almost a ballad kinda thing:

this one is mine

No bop, just a poem.
Mother Nature violated
No bop, no pic.
But on Monday I “found” the twelfth fragment of
The Geek Poet’s Tale
(It’s at the top of page, but to read the fragments in order of post date, scroll to the bottom of the page and read up.)
A bop, with Jill’s lines as a refrain.
Crow Angel
It was the anniversary of my late father’s death, and I wrote a book about his brain tumour. I took the opportunity to rewrite a poem, A Life of Value, in fitting celebration of my late parent’s lives. I wasn’t up to bopping this month!
My bop, “Ladybug”, with Angie’s lines as the refrain:

Here’s a poem we wrote for the prompt. It’s up at our new site, Mutating the Signature: http://mutatingthesignature.org/2009/02/26/collaborative-poetry-read-write-prompt-67
I used James’ lines too…in a little different direction:

Here’s a bop with Christine’s lines:
The Journey off the Path
This was fun. It’s rough, but I like it. My refrain is from rmilana. I’m glad I didn’t read the lines in the original poem until after I wrote mine.
I Like The Sound of My Voice
finally finished mine. here it is:

Late to the party, but here nonetheless! Digging Up Pearl
Aside from the bop I posted earlier, here’s something slightly morbid I wrote recently on a prompt by Poetswhoblog: Tired All. Enjoy!
I did try to write a BOP, using Michelle’s 2 lines. It was fun! Thanks, Michelle!
