So how did you do with your title collage? It’s time for us to show what we made from the experience. As usual with our collaborative prompts, it wouldn’t hurt if everyone left a few words about what they did along with the link to their work. Was it fun, hard, invigorating, frustrating? Did you use the words as is, did you edit a lot? (It’s all good — it is your poem, now!)
Please, link back here in your posts, either with a hyperlink to Read Write Poem or by using the badge in your post. Sidebar links are great but it helps our “internet health” when you link in every post you contribute to the project. And please add “Read Write Poem” in your tags, if you don’t mind.![]()
For the new folks: Please take a few moments to read the About pages, including our Copyrights page. If you have any questions about the project after reading through those pages, email us at info (at) readwritepoem (dot) org.

Happy New Year!
I used a different photo by Tres for readwriteimage#6. Once I flipped through the sets, this one–taka–really stuck in my head.

and poem number two:
I really enjoyed the title collage!
I used all the titles with just a wee bit of editing and I added a few words. It all flowed together pretty well. I even got to throw in a little bit of humor, so it’s all good!

I collaged as well: http://stoneymoss.org/2008/12/31/collaborative-poetry-title-chop-suey/
It’s raw, and could use a lot of tweaking. I used all the words as a challenge, except for a bunch of ofs and little guys.
I am always surprised how much I like playing with words this way.

I’ve now had a go at the collage. Here is my tongue-in-cheek attempt:

P.S. Wordpress is playing up and the layout is not exactly as I would have wished.

For the collage prompt I rearranged the given titles into American sentences:

I wrote this last week but just now got it up on my blog – for the Read Write Image:

I decided to refer to my poem title effort as a “word painting” with the words rearranged into phrases I like today.

Can’t wait to catch up on what the rest of you did.
i am impressed with some of the title poems i’ve seen around based on this prompt! (i’m also looking forward to reading people’s goals!)
i have 17 American sentences to share which I drafted at Joshua Tree NP over the past few days and revised last night and this morning:
