It’s great that there were so many of us sharing some of our favorite things. Doesn’t it seem like we know each other a little better? Now it’s time for us to show what we made from the experience. As usual with our collaborative prompts, it wouldn’t hurt if everyone left a few words about what they did along with the link to their work.
Please, link back here in your posts, either with a hyperlink to Read Write Poem or by using the badge in your post. Sidebar links are great but it helps our “internet health” when you link in every post you contribute to the project. And please add “Read Write Poem” in your tags, if you don’t mind.![]()
For the new folks: Please take a few moments to read the About pages, including our Copyrights page. If you have any questions about the project after reading through those pages, email us at info (at) readwritepoem (dot) org.

“Diving into the Wreck”, Adrienne Rich, the link of which was posted by Michelle.
This is for the image prompt: I Swim With My Eyes Closed
Hi, Nathan, I had a lot of fun with this. Michelle’s link, ‘Diving into the Wreck’ inspired me, as did the image prompt #5. I loved ‘Moly’ so much that I listened to it a few times this week, so maybe there are undercurrents of its whimsy in my poem.

NOTE: My poem “SeaLife”, to which I linked above, was inspired by the e e cummings poem I shared, entitled: “maggie and milly and molly and may”
I wrote my poem off of Rob’s favorite thing, “Fragile”:

Yum! Thanks for the beautiful prompt! Mine came out more like an Advent prayer than anything else. Look forward to see where everyone else went with this!
