Hi there! I’m so glad that you liked my image enough to use it as part of your rather snazzy setup here at readwritepoem.org. More than anything, I do love to see where my photos end up as a result of the completely open CC license they’re all rigged with. I really love the poems that have been published in response, too. Hi Philip,

All the images we use on RWP (except for Wordle and logos) are from Flickr.

We (mostly Dana to date) browse images that the artists allow us – and anyone – to use by way of a Creative Commons license.

We love CC and the ability it gives people to share their work as they want to – completely openly, use it except for profit, mix and mash however you want to, or whatever limitations the artist wants to impose or lift. It is a terrific system.

We love Flickr, too.
