She says: “By announcing my intention to plunge back into my creativity, I’m hoping that I reacquaint myself with my writing side. It seems silly that I need to reintroduce myself to my writer’s self over and over again, but here I am doing it again. A while ago, I used to write “Poet is a verb” entries, which helped me to track how well I honored my writer’s work. I will use it again. Hopefully, they will work again.”
Good luck! I know this ongoing reacquaintance in me too – if I go even a day or two without creating something, this voice begins to creep in, telling me I have nothing at all to say. What a croc! There’s always something rolling around in there. Even if the first line is: I have nothing at all to say.
