Did you dig up some good dinosaur poems this week? Explore the nature of the monstrous?
Tell us. Leave us a link to your blog post in the comments below. Or leave several comments (if you have more than one link to share) if you helped children dig up a fake stegosaurus, or something remotely dinosaurous. We will be as curious as a child about anything you leave us to ponder this week. So share.
Please, link back here in your posts, either with a hyperlink to Read Write Poem or by using the badge in your post. Sidebar links are great but it helps our “internet health” when you link in every post you contribute to the project. And please add “Read Write Poem” in your tags, if you don’t mind.![]()

this is a 315 poem from 2002 which has fossils and a dinsaur in it; I posted it originally back on my site back in December:

and i have a non-dinosaur but still brand new poem yesterday and i made a video for it today called:

Not written for the assignment–I haven’t adjusted to the new posting schedule, and it might take a while to sync up. But this piece from the archives is definitely related to the topic, so sharing it here…

I’ve only discovered Read Write Poem tonight and am absolutely salivating. Staying up too late, gobbling up dino-goodness everywhere. I love witnessing how everyone’s gift of words expresses itself in a different cadence, and through it feel my own words and ways expand. I’ve been hungry for a larger community of writers. So very glad I clicked on that (yes, way cool) badge with the intriguing name…
Contributions to follow. (Cross my heart.)
In glee and inspiration,
