Read Write Poem is 100% volunteer-driven. We don’t receive any compensation for the work we do, other than the reward of seeing poets read, write and share poetry. Feel free to thank our volunteer directors, senior contributors and writers for all their hard work. (And give yourself a pat on the back for being part of the community, because your presence here is also essential.)

Managers

Carolee Sherwood is a poet and artist who lives in Upstate New York. She is co-editor of Ouroboros Review, mother of three boys and a veteran Read Write Poem columnist. You can find her rambling about the creative life at Carolee Sherwood and drafting poems at I Am Maureen.

Jill Crammond Wickham has discovered that the frantic pace of motherhood has driven her to write more, not less. Jill writes at Mom Trying to Write and is co-editor of Ouroboros Review.

Senior Contributors

Dave Jarecki writes from his home office in Portland, Ore. By day he’s a faithful Breakerboy, carving out strategic messages for a host of small-business and nonprofit clients. Ren (Katherine) Powell is native Californian living on the west coast of Norway. Ren has published three collections of poetry and 11 books of translations. She is a graduate adviser with Prescott College’s brief residency MA program and is pursuing a doctorate in creative writing at Lancaster University in England. Learn more at her website.
